The Mölndals -based brand Unihoc was founded in 1972 by Carl-Åke Ahlqvist. Ahlqvist Is known as "Father's Father" when he was the first to import hockey clubs of plastic for indoor games with ball. In this way, Unihoc has grown in line with the floor.
Unihoc products are sold today in more than 60 countries and much of the company's success depends on their technically revolutionary products. The Kevlar club, the Player leaf, the curve shaft and the lightweight clubs in the Carbskin series are examples of some of the products that paved the way for Unihoc over the years. In parallel with developing the flooring of the future, Unihoc works to increase knowledge about the sport as such in the hope of one day getting the flooring as an Olympic sport.
