Dunlop was founded in 1888 by John Boyd Dunlop, who revolutionized the bicycle and car industry through his patented invention of pneumatic tires. It was only twenty years later that Dunlop entered the sports market through its launch of golf balls. In 1923 they produced their first tennis ball, which in 2019 became the official tennis ball for the Australian Open and the ATP tour. In 1932 Dunlop launched what came to become the world's most famous tennis racket, Dunlop Maxply, for fifty years. One of the legends that played with the racket was John McEnroe, who also won with it against Björn Borg in the Wimbledon final in 1981.
Dunlop is today a major player in many other racket sports such as squash and paddle. Dunlop was one of the first to develop diamond and hybrid form on its paddle rackets, which are used by world stars such as Juan Mieres and Ramiro Moyano.
You will find a wide paddle offering at Ongoal and do not forget Dunlop's motto, which reads "Love the Game".
